There are two tiers to the Miller Family Football League.  The Outlaw Conference will consist of the teams not remaining in or promoted to the top tier.

At the end of each season three teams will be promoted from the Outlaw Conference to replace three teams relegated from the Herb and Carol Conference.  The bottom two teams in the top tier (those who do not make the playoffs) will automatically be relegated to the second tier.  The 3rd team relegated will be the lowest seed of the teams knocked out in the first round of the playoffs.  The top three finishers in the second tier will be promoted (finalists and the winner of the third-place game).
